Ahhh looks like it's working - an epic highlight reel for an epic battle. I'll have to edit more next time, but each Stallion and Eagle shot looked so smooth, I had to put them all in. I made a guess at the final score when I made this on Sunday...

MVP voting - game 3

in my haste, i forgot to mention a few key accomplishments from last monday's game:

* Motorbreath gets another triple-double (26 pts, 22 rebs, 11 assists). That gives him 2 for his career. He is the only Mamba player to score a triple double

* Eagle came very close to a quadruple-double (30 pts, 13 rebs, 9 assists, 8 steals)

* Numerous single game records were broken:

- Dutchman becomes the new single game rebound leader with 32.
- Eagle would have broken the single game scoring record with 30 pts., but Stallion beat that, scoring 32.
- Motorbreath owns the new assist record with 11.

Again, these stats come courtesy of Dr. Sessions, with an assist from Dutchman. Several observations: Stallion a.k.a The Italian Oven, burned it up with a solid all around game. My vote for Black Mamba of the game. Dutchman has 5 FGs in each of his 3 league games. Strong showing on the boards by Weevil. Workley shot almost 10% higher than his career avg. Dr. Sessions was not himself on the offensive end, making him the only player on his team not to shoot 30% or higher. My shot percentage brings my career avg. dangerously close to falling under 40% (40.2). Motorbreath played like the Black Mamba that he is, falling down every 4.3 seconds. Needs to work on cutting down turnovers (leading league with 7.3 per game).

one last note: tape ran out before the end of the game, so the score is not consistent with the actual outcome. we need to work on playing with less breaks in the action. in other words, don't check your blackberry when a foul is called.
