Up Close & Personal: PATRICK

Patrick is tough to figure out. He dominates on the defensive end - blocks, steals, rebounds, you name it. offensively, one can make the case that he has the best natural form of any player on the court. Yet the shots aren't falling. So what's missing?

Game 2 is tonight and if the Heroes are going to have a chance at victory, Patrick needs to bring his game. Look at this man's face and ask yourself, is it simply a string of bad luck? is it psychological? emotional? Only one person can answer these questions.

1. The Heroes were soundly beaten in Game 1. What does your team have to do differently in Game 2?

PATRICK: Slow her down and get the ball in the hole.

2. You were obviously shaken after your shooting performance (4 of 23, 17%) in game 1. How do you turn it around in game 2?

PW: Channel Kiki Vandeweghe

3. The Horsemen have an up-tempo game that relies on creating turnovers and scoring fast break points. What is the Heroes' identity?

PW: We punish

4. Prediction for Game 2.

PW: Heroes hold the dynamic duo of Carlson-Bianco to under 32 points to win handily on the strength of their power game and smart shot selection.

5. Your game is closest to which NBA player?

PW: Bill Russel

already this game has the intensity of Knicks-Bulls circa '94. The question remains: Will Patrick show up as Patrick Ewing or Herb Williams?
