Congratulations to Babyfox for taking his first Black Mamba. A triple double in his debut is pretty impressive. Let's see if he can maintain that level of play.
Stats for the last game are up (see the post below). A few performances I was impressed with:
1. Workley - 20 boards is monstrous for him since he averages 9.8 a game. Good all around play, even if the FG% was a little low.
2. Weasel - shaping up to be a big force on defense. 2nd straight game with solid defensive numbers. Also brought his TOs way down. Good work.
3. Motorbreath - Good to see last year's Black Mamba of the Year return back to form.
4. Dutchman - Played smart and solid. Lots of O Rebs and put backs. My vote for the best performance on his team.
While Babyfox and Eagle both posted gaudy numbers, they also shot an incomprehensible 68% of their team's FG attempts. Maybe they love the feeling of synthetic leather on their fingertips. I don't know, but 2 man offenses can backfire.
